Preserving The Way introduction.

My Purpose is to help bring today’s believers back into the Light of Scripture!

Over 150,000 people on average per day die on planet earth……are you sure you know what happens next!? If not, please read on…..

The title “Preserving The Way” is a call to all Christians to bring us to the reality that there is only one way to Heaven. The Apostle John wrote in John 14:6;  And Jesus said, “I am The Way and the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through me”. The early believers followed “The Way” before they were titled Christians.  Jesus taught each of us starting with his twelve apostles to drop all things and follow me. He taught all of the other disciples who truly wanted the bread of life to turn from the life’s they were living and to turn to “The Way”. This started the most radical change in human history that has affected all of the civilizations on Earth since then as Jesus taught that we are all valuable in God’s eyes and we will be saved for an eternity with God, not by our own actions or deeds…but by The Grace of God. Then we add in our confession of faith in the Lord of Lord and The Kings of Kings and by our actions in the repentance of our sins…we are on the right path.
God brought his Son to Earth to save us from our sins. It required The Son of God to be sacrificed with his perfect blood on the Cross to once and for all satisfy God’s justification to sinners…and that would be all of us!

But if our lives do not show the change in our behaviors in the way we live our day to day lives…are we truly believers? Jesus says in Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do what I say?”

Have any of us who confess our Faith in Christianity and live in these United States of America taken a real serious look into how we live our lives and is it producing the good fruits of righteousness?

Many studies in America indicate that around 75% of all Americans claim they are Christians. Some reports are actually as high as 86%. I am here to try to honestly and humbly (starting with me) to take a truthful assessment of these claims.

If we are believers in the life and death and resurrection of our Jesus Christ…then how are the following statistics to fit into that belief system?

In America today:

  • America has the highest divorce rate of any Western Nation on the planet; half of all first marriages end in divorce, 63% of second marriages and 73% of third marriages.
  • 50% of children born today in America are born out of wedlock. In the 1960’s it was 8% and in 1980 it was 18%. Every statistic regarding children’s safety and well-being are always compromised when the children are not born into a nuclear family.
  • Abortion and contraceptives are considered acceptable by the majority of Americans today.
  • Only 1 in 10 evangelical Christians have a Biblical worldview.

Is there anyone left in America who can just ignore the truth that we as a nation are so far removed from living our lives in what The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have to teach us in The Holy Bible.

Ps 1:2 Blessed in the man who does not walk in the council of the wicked or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and he meditates on it day and night.

The last statistic in the above list is by far the main reason that by any social standards and there are hundreds more which clearly show the morals in our Country are in the dumpster. The only way to keep ourselves on the straight and narrow is to get back to the one Book that has proven itself for more than 3,000 years to be the one, true and reliable source of moral and civil just prudence. Believe that Christ died from your sins, read your Bible daily and obey……and Heaven will be your reward!

Matthew 7:13 and 14 says it all: Jesus says

13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Do any of us know when our last day on Earth will be? What can we be doing everyday of our lives to prepare and strengthen ourselves individually and for our families for the difficulties in this life and to prepare us for the Final Trumpet sound at the end of the age. What are our priorities for today and for the rest of our lives?

The most amazing thing to me is we have the same owner’s manual to help strengthen us and guide us on the sojourn here on Earth as the first Christians did in the first century. And there is not one of us who has a cell phone can say we do not have access to it. It is available in many more resources than ever before in the History of mankind due to the internet and the access to it from computers, tablets and especially our own cell phones. Why do you think God has given us these technologies….so no one will have an excuse.

And another truth be known that most of our homes has more than a few Bibles within their walls waiting for you and me to open it daily to strengthen our Spirit. As our physical bodies need food every day, our soul needs spiritual strengthening daily as well!

Another amazing statistic…but this one proves to me God is not finished with us yet. The Holy Christian Bible still is the best-selling Book in our Country week in and week out throughout this year and every year……why? It is the only Book that speaks directly to our souls given to us graciously by our Holy Father over the centuries due to his Grace and Love to those who know him…

To lead all of us who profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior to humbly help each of us who believe through the Holy Spirit of God to find our way back into the light.
